Welcome residents IMIBIC
In June every year, IMIBIC invites the new resident medical interns (MIR) of the Reina Sofia University Hospital to a welcome session, where IMIBIC presents the institute, its main activities, objectives, and training opportunities, and promotes the research career among medical doctors. The medical interns starting their residency at the hospital will also visit the different installations of IMIBIC.
Open day – Reina Sofia University Hospital
During this event, the resident medical interns will learn about the Reina Sofia University Hospital, its offer and strengths as a teaching hospital, and its connection to the IMIBIC. The different clinical units present their daily medical practice and research activities at stands with the help of senior residents, mentors, and directors of the units.
The objectives of the welcome day are to:
- Inform the future resident medical interns about the patient care, teaching and research activities carried out at the Reina Sofia University Hospital.
- To exchange information and experiences about the different medical specialties with the residents and tutors, and to answers any question and doubts.
