Communication and protocol team

The communication and protocol area has the task of positioning and promoting the image of IMIBIC as a national reference center in excellent science, giving visibility to the different research lines of the groups that make up the Institute and to the results of the same. This area is also the main link between the IMIBIC scientific community and the different social groups.

The communication and protocol team offers services to the research groups, management areas and the Institute's management team in their needs for external communication, scientific communication and dissemination, media management, event organization, internal communication, coordination of the RRI strategy, fundraising support, graphic design and audiovisual communication.

The RRI strategy, promoted within the framework of the European Orion project (Open Responsible Research and Innovation to further Outstanding knowledge) of the Institute, aims to encourage the active participation of society in science and innovation from the earliest stages of research projects in order to ensure that future results are as closely aligned as possible with social needs. In this sense, from the area of communication and protocol, actions are developed in the six lines of this strategy: ethics, governance, gender equality, open access, public commitment and health education.
