The standardization of the authors' signature and institutes' names in scientific publications provides
greater national and international visibility and is paramount to the reliability of bibliometric indicators
on productivity and impact. Incorrectly affiliated scientific publications cause errors in the retrieval of
information and make it difficult to recognize both the volume of scientific production and the impact of
the work, measured through citations.
This document sets out the guidelines for standardizing researchers’ signatures when they publish research
results produced at IMIBIC.
